You might remember the little "incident" LA had when her toy fell on top of her. What??? You don't remember? Well, let's just revisit a little post entitled "When Good Toys Go Bad."

Apparently toy boxes can also turn on you and try to EAT YOU ALIVE! I've seen it happen! (Excuse the poor video and picture quality. They are both off my cell phone. I didn't think it appropriate to leave LA while I dug out the "good" technology!)

Did you hear Elmo tell her "Elmo will be there soon!" Leave it to a furry little red guy to come and rescue her. And yes, I admit it. I was laughing at her.

Fourth of July

I'm not feeling very "wordy" this morning, so this will be short and sweet :) We took LA to see her first fireworks this weekend at my parents' home. Some friends of theirs invited a bunch of people over to their home to watch the fireworks from their backyard. Since we didn't have to go early to camp out a spot, we were able to put LA down for "bed" around 6:00 that evening and woke her up at 8:00 to get ready. She was very confused and voiced her disgust at being woken up. However, she quickly found a happier mood with Daddy's help.
We watched the fireworks from the comfort of a screened in porch (no mosquitoes!). Since it was her first time, we weren't sure how LA would respond to the noise. Turns out, she really enjoyed herself! The following pictures and videos are not the best quality (someone needs to work on her nighttime photography), but I think you can tell by her face that she was mesmerized.
