Lesson 2: ISO and Shutter Speed

So this week's photography lesson was to work in Shutter Priority on the camera and photograph water hitting an object from the faucet (not very exciting subject matter, but what can I say). By changing the shutter speed, the "freeze" that you catch changes. Notice how the increase in shutter speed allows you to see more of the drops of water as they flow from the faucet and bounce off the bowl. Now, the flipside is, the faster the shutter speed, the more light you need so you will see the pictures get darker (since we were not manipulating aperture).
